Some Pretty Exciting Stuff for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and as part of my honor of being the US Soccer Women's National team's SheBelieves Hero for 2018, I was invited to a team training and their last friendly game before World Cup Qualifiers start in October. I had such a great time! I even got to take over the US Soccer Instagram story for the day!
While I was there, I got to juggle with the AMAZING Indi Cowie, a professional soccer freestyler. Check her out if you haven't seen her before! But the VERY best part was that US Soccer gave me an official jersey SIGNED BY THE US WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM, which will be auctioned off at the Miracles on the Bay Gala for St. Jude in San Francisco on October 5th, where I'll be honored for my fundraising efforts and will be giving a speech. For those who aren't attending the gala, I will be posting a link to the online auction in late September, so anyone can bid on this amazing prize! The highest bid from the online or live auction will get the jersey! It has signatures of some of the biggest names in US Soccer! Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Julie Ertz, Tobin Heath, and the list goes on! I am so grateful to US Soccer for this amazing support of childhood cancer treatment and research, and I hope the jersey sells for tons of money! :)One last thing, if you would like to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month AND my 14th birthday with a donation to St. Jude, please consider donating $14 or some other amount in multiples of 14. You can do that HERE any time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wr-8-5sVSw&feature=youtu.beThank you so much for your support!~Hollis
