A philanthropy advocate, public speaker, and researcher, Hollis Belger (19) began her impact journey at age nine, when she founded “Juggling for Jude,” a soccer-juggling fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Raising more than $750,000 of her $1M goal so far, Hollis has also become an ambassador and development advisor for ALSAC and St. Jude’s mission, helping to increase awareness of the hospital and pediatric cancer awareness worldwide. 

Hollis speaks to young people nationwide, encouraging them to access passions, talents, and interests as avenues for giving. She also urges adults to foster purpose in youth, through education, mentorship, and networking. Hollis has partnered with major corporations and has worked closely with renowned market researcher, Dr. Howard Moskowitz, using his artificial intelligence technology to support St. Jude market research. She has given a TEDx talk on developing purpose in teens and is currently a research intern for GiveTeam, a startup supporting purposeful philanthropic investments.

Hollis has won many awards, including the Diana Award, Daily Point of Light Award, Jefferson Award, Prudential Spirit of Community Award, Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award, President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award, Prudential Spirit of Community Award, US Soccer SheBelieves Hero Award, St. Jude’s Jerry Nicholson Award, North Bay Leadership Association Youth Speech Competition, Invisalign Changemakers Award, Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, and many others. One of People Magazine’s 2021 “Teens Changing the World,” Hollis has been featured by NBC Nightly News Kids, Sports Illustrated Kids, and more. 

During high school, Hollis earned a Certificate in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organizations from Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies. She is currently a freshman at Stanford University (class of 2027), exploring potential majors, engaging in multiple impact-oriented clubs and organizations, and holding multiple leadership positions. She is also a research intern at GiveTeam, a philanthropic investment advising firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
