THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA OUTREACH AND THE PEOPLE WHO RESPOND!

During especially busy times, I sometimes struggle to keep up with social media posts and get to wondering how much they matter. I’ve been busier than ever recently, as a high school senior juggling (😊) many responsibilities, and I haven’t been posting as often on my Juggling for Jude social media channels.

Yesterday, I received a note saying that a U14 soccer team across the country on the Jersey Shore had heard about my mission and decided to help. Taking the Juggling for Jude challenge, they raised $650 for St. Jude. Had it not been for my social media outreach, they might have never heard about St. Jude. This was a great reminder to me that every single outreach effort I make has the potential to help a child fighting cancer. So yes, it ALWAYS matters!

Big thanks to the Jersey Shore FC boys for your work and donation, on behalf of kids fighting cancer at St. Jude and around the world!
