EVERYTHING WE LOVE DOING CAN BECOME A WAY TO GIVE!

I’m a big believer in the idea that pretty much anything we love doing can become an avenue for giving. As some of you know, I’m an avid dancer and a faculty member at my dance studio. Over vacation weeks, I’ve been teaching classes to raise funds for scholarships for Marin City Dance Project, which allows students who would otherwise not be able to afford to take classes at my studio the opportunity to do so.

When I speak to kids and teens at schools and in other venues, I try to encourage them to think about how they can take something they love doing and figure out a way it can become a path to helping others. There are so many ways we can make a difference!

While most of my fundraising is, of course, for St. Jude, I’m constantly on the lookout for how else I can contribute!
