MY FIRST POST-PANDEMIC IN-PERSON SCHOOL TALK FELT AMAZING!

It felt great to be back at my old middle school to share my experiences in fundraising and to inspire them to research and engage in causes that speak to them. There was even a childhood cancer survivor in one of the classes, who thanked me for helping the cause, and made my day! Honestly, it’s moments like that one that I keep with me as I continue my mission to support St. Jude.

Although my Zoom talks this year have been a great way to keep up my advocacy and share with other students, I love the in-person energy and am so happy for this opportunity opening up again! Big thanks to the Hall Middle School Cougars for having me!
