CHANGE-MAKING CONVERSATIONS WITH PRINCE HARRY, THANKS TO THE DIANA AWARD

Last month, I was honored to attend an inspiring event for young changemakers, put on by the international Diana Award which honors the legacy of Princess Diana and young people making a difference worldwide. As a 2021 Diana Award recipient, I was invited to a special event called “Conversations for Change” in Los Angeles! Our small group talked about change-making, service, and working to make the world better, alongside accomplished corporate and philanthropic leaders. A special highlight was meeting the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry! I was especially impressed by his commitment to supporting young people giving back and was equally as empowered by the other awardees who have dedicated much of their adolescence to their own causes.

Another special highlight was meeting Maddi Tory, who advocates for positivity in children’s hospitals through her organization called HUGS (we had a lot in common!). I’m grateful to continue to be exposed to, and collaborate with, other people in my generation who are committed to forging change. Big thanks to the Diana Award for an incredible experience!
