NO BETTER WAY TO KICK OFF MY EIGHTH SUMMER OF JUGGLING FOR JUDE!

Yesterday was my favorite summer day so far! I spent a couple of hours catching up with my buddy Riku, brain cancer survivor, thanks to St. Jude! He and his family will be moving back to Japan after his semi-annual checkup next week, but this is a memory I’ll treasure!

Riku had Medulloblastoma, the most common form of brain cancer in kids. Medulloblastoma is a tumor that starts in the cerebellum, the lower back part of the brain which muscle control, coordination, and movement. The scar on the back of his neck was visible after he lost his hair to chemo, but his hair has since grown in, and he’s now a thriving rising first grader. I can’t wait to follow his progress in Japan!

I’ve officially started my 8th summer of Juggling for Jude, with a a few thousand juggles in the books. I’ll be going for my annual record soon, and will of course update my blog with any news!

As always, you can DONATE any time to help the fight against childhood cancer to help awesome kids like Riku get well.

THANK YOU!
