PEOPLE ARE AMAZING, AND WE CAN ALL FIND WAYS TO INSPIRE!

Every year, I juggle at the Have a Ball Golf Tournament, held in July and September about an hour from where I live. The tournament was started by Bob Hammer, who survived cancer multiple times, himself, and has since dedicated his life to raising funds for all kinds of cancer causes. I’ve been juggling at Hole 4 with Vern Glen, local sportscaster for KPIX-TV, for the past seven years, collecting donations in response to juggling on demand (golfers choose a number of juggles, I do them, and they donate $1/juggle).

Every time I’m part of this event, I’m blown away by people’s stories. This year, I met Chris, pictured with me in the photo above. It turns out that he has raised $145,000 in the fight against MS over the past 25 years, through a fundraiser where he drum rolls for donations! He even got the world record in longest drumroll back in 2012, doing it for over 8 hours! Chris is proof that you really can take anything you love doing and turning it into a way to help other people, which is a message I’ve been putting out into the world since I was nine and people would listen. I’m so glad I met Chris and hope his story brings inspiration to someone else!

As always, you can DONATE any time to help St. Jude in the global fight against childhood cancer.

THANK YOU!

Hollis
