I GOT A NEW JUGGLING RECORD!

Every summer, I try to get a new soccer juggling record, and for the past three summers, I’ve tried to beat my previous record by at least 1,000, to make it really worth the effort. So far, so good! My goal for this summer was to be in the 6,000’s. When I got to 7,000, I felt pretty good about it, decided to do another 100 just to make sure (in case of counting error), and I then juggled 57 more times before deciding to kick the ball in the air and call it quits.

My new record of 7,157 touches, alternating feet, took 76 minutes. People often ask me if I feel pressure to get a new record every year. I tell them that it matters to me that I show my donors that I’m still juggling all of these years later, because juggling is how my whole Juggling for Jude journey began. The pressure is all internal, and it makes me feel good to know i can make a new record happen when I want to. Plus, the effort and the stress of getting a record always involves a lot of self-reflection and time spent thinking about all of the St. Jude warriors I know who fight much tougher battles than mine.

Below is the YouTube video of my record.

As always, you can DONATE to help St. Jude in the global fight against childhood cancer. Maybe you want to choose a number related to my new record, like $71.57 or $7.15. Every dollar helps save a life!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
