Who Knew Tulips Could Help Kids with Cancer?!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending another great St. Jude Bay Area luncheon, this time in the Silicon Valley.
A highlight was meeting Rich Santoro (pictured with me below), who has been fundraising for St. Jude by offering showings of his backyard garden, where he’s been growing tulips and other flowers. His garden honors his son, Boom, who passed away from Neuroblastoma in 1982. Rich’s work is another inspiring example of how you can use a niche talent or passion to support the fight against childhood cancer (and honor the memory of a loved one in the process). ❤️ You can read more about Rich and his garden here.
Big thanks to the Bay Area St. Jude team for including me in the event and introducing me to inspiring supporters like Rich! 🎗️
If you’d like to donate to support the fight against pediatric cancer, you can do so here.
Thanks for your support!
