2ND PENNY PROJECT WAS A SUCCESS!

Yesterday was the second annual Penny Project (created and executed by two amazing women in the soccer community Kierra and Louise), and it once again showed that pennies really can add up to impact!

For 30 minutes, participating soccer players juggled as many times as they could, with each juggle leading to one penny for kids with cancer at St. Jude. With more than 107,000 juggles completed, and some juggles having more than one pledge, we are looking at an exciting total, which I’ll announce as soon as the donations are tallied.

HUGE shout out to the ParkSanJose for being an incredible host for the second year in a row. Also big thanks to the Dominican Women’s Soccer team, who brought their top-notch juggling skills and inspired the younger girls! And, of course, huge thanks to everyone who participated and donated! We couldn’t do any of this without you all!

Because April is Global Volunteer Month, this was such a great way to kick it off with a collaborative and impactful project like this! To me, Global Volunteer month is all about finding innovative and creative ways to give to causes that move you. Who knew that soccer juggling could be such a catalyst for giving?! But it can, and these soccer jugglers are proof in action!

As always, you can donate to St. Jude here, to help give hope to families facing childhood cancer.

Thank you for your support!
