OUTREACH TO MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ABOUT ST. JUDE AND THE BENEFITS OF PHILANTHROPY

It’s always a pleasure visiting my old stomping grounds of Hall Middle School and empowering the next generation of philanthropists! The curriculum of Hall’s new community leadership class for 7th and 8th graders encourages them to develop impact projects for causes of their choosing. To get the spring cohort started, I shared my story as a young fundraiser and gave them some pro tips on how to give sustainably and meaningfully.

After the fundraising tips, I also had a chance to offer some juggling tips too! Some were total pros within the first few minutes. I’m always grateful for students’ open minds and willingness to explore unusual activities as avenues for giving, and I’m looking forward to more presentations in the coming weeks.

As always, you can donate to St. Jude here, to help give hope to families facing childhood cancer.

Thank you for your support!
